THE STARS & STRIPES, the "Daily Newspaper of U.S. Armed Forces in the European Theater of Operations" as noted in the masthead. This is a nice collection of six complete issues from the spring & summer of 1944 reporting the war in Europe, each with a front page reports on the war and with some war-related photo as well. Dates are: June 20, Aug. 23, 28, 29, 30 & 31, 1944. See photos for the headlines & front page reports.
All are complete, never bound nor trimmed, good condition.
