VERMONT CHRONICLE, Windsor, July 24, 1839 Page 3 has: "Mormon Troubles In Illinois" which reports: "...some of the inhabitants of that county having embraced the Mormon faith, were...beset by a mob & assaults committed upon them...Judge Breeze issued warrants against 15 of the leaders..." and a bit more. An early report on the Mormons.
