THE EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT, Scotland, March 31, 1746 Not surprisingly this issue has reports on the Jacobite Rebellion including an item noting: "...reported form among the Rebels that Roy Steward was killed by a shot...from one of the Duke of Kingston's men..." and: "...2 or 3 small parties...have been surprized by the rebels & the men either killed or taken prisoners..." and: "...that a party...under the Command of Glenure, quartered at the foot of Kanach, were attacked by a party of the Rebels..." and more.
Four pages, 8 by 10 inches, nice condition.
