This was the capital of the federal government at the time, and in less than 3 months George Washington would be inaugurated in the city. Page. 2 has some reports from Congress which mention men being elected to Congress, and also that Charles Pinckney was elected governor of South Carolina.
Four pages, never-trimmed margins, minor wear at the spine, very nice condition.
