The double date reflects the change in calendar at the time. It was 1707 by the Julian calendar and 1708 by the Gregorian calendar. The masthead features two nice wood engravings, one showing a man on horseback "trumpeting" the news.
Filled with various reports from throughout Europe including military events. The back page has advertisements as well.
Single sheet, 8 1/4 by 14 `1/4 inches, very nice, displayable condition.
