June 24, 1861

DAILY DISPATCH, Richmond, Virgina, June 24, 1861  A nice newspaper from the capital of the Confederate States of America. Among the articles are; "Federal Outrages at Hampton" "From Camp Pickens" "Virginia State Convention"; an editorial titled: "The Length of the War"; The Objects of the War" "From Camp Wigfall" "From Fredericksburg" "Advance Of Troops" and much more. The back page has 6 illustrated "Runaway" slave ads (see).
Four pages, some bleed-through of ink makes the ftpg. a bit difficult to read. Very nice condition.
