THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, July 28, 1757 The front page has most of a column headed: "America" with news from Annapolis and New York, the former including: "...returned...from Fort Frederick having delivered the present that was granted for the Cherokees & the value of 200 pounds in goods for the scalps of the 4 Indians that were lately killed near Rays-Town..." and more. Inside has nearly a full page on: "A Proposal for Forming a Triple Union of our Colonies in North America in order to Retrieve our Losses, & Present the like for the Future." (see). Also: "America" with a Williamsburg dateline, which has more content concerning the French & Indian War.
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches, some wear at margins, very nice condition.
