The masthead includes a nice engraving showing the Sierra Nevada mountains which surround this picturesque city and an inset with some buildings (see). Now a gambling mecca not far from Lake Tahoe, during the 1870's Reno was a mining town.
This issue was never bound nor trimmed, has 8 pages, and is in very nice condition.
