Subtitled: "Gazette Of The Regular And Volunteer Forces", this 16 page issue is simply filled with military reports, almost entirely on the Civil War at this time.
There is much content concerning the surrender agreement between Sherman and Johnston. Inside pages contains "The Status Of Lee's Army" and a brief report headed: "Booth Shot And Killed" , and a lengthy article titled: "The Legal Aspects of Lee's Capitulation", plus content concerning the funeral of Abraham Lincoln, and an article headed: "A Sketch Of President Lincoln".
Truly a terrific issue to have this content, being the official publication of the military. Sixteen pages, 10 by 14 1/2 inches, scattered foxing, nice condition.
