CITIZEN SOLDIER, Windsor, Vermont, April 23, 1841  The motto in the masthead details its purpose: "Devoted to the Interests of the Militia, To Military Science and National Defense in General." This was a very short-lived newspaper lasting just 52 weeks issues from 1840-1841.
Among the various articles within are: "Reorganization of the Militia - Gen. Harrison's Plan" which takes the entire front page; "The American Character" "Population & Military Force of the Different Powers in 1841" "West Point Academy" and: "General Orders" beginning: "Information having been received of the death of William Henry Harrison, President of the United States...the following arrangements will be observed..." & more (see). Also: "The Funeral Car" with more on the funeral (see). The full back page is a "Biography - General Harrison".
