PENNSYLVANIA PACKET & DAILY ADVERTISER, Philadelphia, June 2, 1787 Page 3 has a report from Baltimore: "An Act declaring the Treaty of Peace between the United States and his Britannic Majesty, the Supreme Law within this state..." with the details (see). The delegates from Connecticut elected to Congress are named, and also: "...from Washington, we are informed that Shays, and a number of his officers are at Salem in that county; that they are treated with the greatest respect by the inhabitants who seem in general inclined to favour their party."
