LLOYD'S EVENING POST, London, Oct. 7, 1796 Page 4 has: "America - Evacuation Of The Western Forts" which includes in part: "...It is with pleasure that I inform you of the good news received...from Detroit...After a long & tedious passage...that the American flag was then hoisted on the ramparts..." with much on the situation at Detroit (see).
Eight pages, 8 3/4 by 11 1/2 inches, very nice condition.
