BRITISH WORKMAN, London, Jan., 1860 This is a fascinating paper which existed to "...promote the health, wealth, & happiness of the working classes." It carries a very graphic front page with a print of "Lord Chief Justice Tenterden", with a very decorative border around the page (see). The related article is headed: "How A Barber's Boy Became Lord Chief Justice of England". A few more unrelated illustrations inside.
