Most of page 2 is taken up with: "The President's MESSAGE", being his annual state-of-the-union address, signed by him in type: Andrew Jackson. Not surprisingly Jackson does give some discussion to the issue with Mexico and Texas, as 1836 was the year of the Battle of the Alamo, San Jacinto, Goliad & more.
Four pages, large folio size, minor loss at the blank spine margin, generally nice condition.
