GLEASON'S WEEKLY LINE OF THE BATTLE SHIP, Boston, Massachusetts, June 18, 1859 This newspaper has one of the largest & most decorative mastheads of the 19th century with a decorative border around all pages.
Front page has a 9 by 7 inch engraving: "The Narrows, From Staten Island, New York". The back page has a large illustration of "Park Street Church, Boston".
A volume I issue. Large masthead has an engraving of a ship & more.
Complete in 8 pages, little spine wear, generally nice condition.
