Page 2 has: "...a Letter from a Gentleman in Maryland...to his Friend in London" which begins: "You have herewith an invoice of goods, part of them the terms of our association allow to be imported, part not. I have separated them; and unless the revenue acts are repealed, amongst which I include that laying a duty on tea, payable here, I would not have the goods mentioned in the second part sent by any means. If unhappily the scheme of taxing America should be persisted in..." with more (see).
Eight pages, 8 by 11 1/4 inches, very nice condition.
