NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Jan. 30, 1858 Page 3 has: "From Utah" with the latest news, including: "...alludes to the arrival of the troops at Fort Bridger...The Mormon train, after leaving Carson Valley, got along very well & without any difficulty with Indians...The troops arrived at Fort Bridger 7 weeks ago...They wanted to come into the Valley to establish the laws of the United States and put down polygamy..." with much more (see).
