Page 2 has an interesting item: "Notice is Hereby Given, that in case the treaty entered into by that d---n'd Arch Traitor, J--n J--y [John Jay] with the British tyrant should be ratified...Virginia...MAY RECEDE FROM THE UNION..." with more (see photos).
Page 2 also has an item concerning Comm. Decatur and the U.S. frigate Chesapeake, plus some anti-Jefferson sentiments.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, light foxing, archival repair at the spine, nice.
