THE SALEM GAZETTE, Salem, Massachusetts, June 1, 1798 Most of the front page is taken up with: "Important Documents - Conclusion of the Dispatches Communicated to Congress by the President". Page 2 has an "Address" of the students of Rhode Island College to the President, with his "Answer" to them signed in italic type: John Adams. Also a letter from "The Young Men of Boston" to the President this his "Answer" also signed in italic type: John Adams. And yet a third letter to the People of New Bern, North Carolina, signed: John Adams.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, very nice condition.
