NEW YORK TRIBUNE, March 11, 1865 Among the front page one column heads on the Civil War are: "Good News From Sherman!" "Sherman 40 Miles from Raleigh" "Whites & Blacks Flock to Him" "Negro Panic At Conscription" "The Planters Arm Their Slaves Against It" & more.
Also, page 4 has: "A Last Call To Deserters" being a "Proclamation" signed in type by the President: Abraham Lincoln, in which he offers pardon to those deserters from the military who return to their ranks by a specified time (see).
Eight pages, 3 worm holes thru all leaves affect some words but not readability. Nice condition.
