THE NEW YORK TIMES, May 18, 1944

* Jewish Holocaust becoming reality to the public
* Nazi-occupied Hungary exterminations

This 36 page newspaper has one column headlines on page 5: "SAVAGE BLOWS HIT JEWS IN HUNGARY", "80,000 Reported Sent to Murder Camps in Poland--Non-Jews Protest in Vain". See photos for coverage on the ongoing atrocities in Nazi-occupied Hungary. Rare to find such reports in newspapers at this time as the reality of the holocaust was just being known.

What better evidence to confirm of what really happened then having a 1st hand account from the day it was first reported.

Other news, sports and and advertisements of the day throughout with much on World War II. Minor spine wear, otherwise in very nice condition.
