LEOMINSTER DAILY ENTERPRISE, Leominster, Massachusetts, January 17, 1947

* Elizabeth Short Hollywood gruesome murder
* Black Dahlia report from near her hometown

Page 7 has one column headings: "POLICE HUNT IS HAMPERED BY CLUE LACK" and "Press Roundup of Suspects in Slaying". This being Elizabeth Short, who grew up in Medford, Massachusetts. See photo for text.

This case has much renewed interest with the release of the Brian DePalma movie. This still unsolved murder case is considered as being the "first media-manufactured murder" as noted by James Elroy, the author of the book.

This is the complete 12 page issue, minor spine wear, otherwise in nice condition.
