We have difficulty finding issues of such an early date from Virginia. A typical newspaper of the day with various news and a great wealth of ads, many of which are illustrated particularly those on the back page (see photos). A page 2 ad is headed: "Trust Sale of Negroes" with details (see photos).
Four pages, some damp staining & light foxing, nice condition.
