THE WORLD, New York City, October 14, 1918

* The 1918 Cloquet fire disaster
* Moose Lake, Carlton County
* Minnesota (1st report)

This 24 page newspaper has one column headlines on page 7: "500 ARE VICTIMS OF FOREST FIRES AROUND DULUTH", "Many Towns in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin Destroyed and Property Losses Will Aggregate Millions" which tells of the 1918 Cloquet fire. See photos for text.

Other news, sports and advertisements of the day with much on closing weeks of World war I. Light browning, little margin wear, otherwise good. Should be handled with care.
