NEW YORK TIMES, Dec. 14, 1861 The front page is dominated by a rather large map at the top center, headed: "The Mississippi, From Cairo to Memphis" showing much detail along the Mississippi. There are also many nice column heads including: "Preparations for a Great Battle in Kentucky" "Gen. Buell's Army Moving Forward to Green River" "Troops Still Pouring Into Kentucky" "Important From Rebeldom" "An Expected Attack On Norfolk" "Excitement Relative to Drafting in Tennessee" "The Condition of Louisiana" and more.
Eight pages, nice condition, but does have a slightly rough left spine (see images).
