July 31, 1974

THE WASHINGTON POST, Washington D.C., July 31, 1974  The banner headline of this issue is "Article III Approved by Panel" with sub "2 Counts Fail; Inquiry Ends" in which "The House Judiciary Committee approved a third article of impeachment against President Nixon yesterday for defying its subpoenas and then last night concluded its historic inquiry after rejecting two other articles involving the secret bombing of Cambodia and tax fraud..."  Other articles are "Conviction Would Bar Pension" "Transit Subsidies Crushed in House" "President Surrenders 20 Tapes" "Friends Urge Impeachment - Prompt Trial in Senate Seen Advantageous". Also on the front page is an article pertaining to Howard Hughes, "Hughes Re-Indicated in Air West Deal" as he and three others were indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of stock manipulation, fraud and conspiracy in connection with the acquisition in 1968 of Air West airlines.

This is complete in 92 pages with a slight discoloration at the center foldline, otherwise in very nice condition.
