THE PITTSBURGH POST, Pennsylvania, June 12, 1862.

* Port Republic, Virginia
* Rare Western PA title

This Genuine newspaper has a Wealth of Civil War reporting from during Abraham Lincoln's administration, and is loaded with advertisements and Civil War reports throughout from the day they were first reported.  Inside includes the following reports: "Jefferson Davis Issues Address To The Army", "General Johnson Wounded", "Battle at Laura, VA", "...Attack Fort Morgan", "Shield's Advance Attacked By Jackson", "Brilliant Victory At Chattanooga", a report from Port Republic, Virginia, and more.  Page two has a nice illustration of an American Flag, captioned, "The Union as it was; The Constitution as it is!"

This issue is not fragile as newsprint from this era was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle. 4 pages and in good condition.
