April 23, 1774

THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, April 23, 1774   Two-thirds of page 4 is taken up with a: "Summary of Thursday's proceedings in the House of Commons" which includes some discussion on affairs in America (see).
Nearly half of another page is taken up with: "The Bill for  the impartial administration of justice in the cases of persons questioned  for any acts done by them in the execution of the law, or for the suppression of riots and tumults in the province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England" which has some great content on the troubles being caused by the Bostonians (see).
The bkpg. also has reports from the House of Commons which includes some American content. Plus a letter from Newport, R.I., as well (see).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/4 inches, partial red ink tax stamp on page 2, very nice condition.
