THE NAMPA PROGRESS, Idaho, January 25, 1890

* Very rare Territorial Idaho issue

Nampa is the fastest growing city in the state, now the 2nd largest to Boise, just 20 miles to the east. Nampa is on the border with Oregon. This is a territorial newspaper as Idaho would not become a state until July of 1890.

This issue is large folio size, complete in 4 pages, and with considerable wear at the margins including many tears, some of which extend into text. Evenly browned & somewhat fragile, it must be handled carefully. Nonetheless a very rare title as any Idaho newspapers from the 19th century are difficult to come by.
