On page 2 under an engraving of an eagle & banner is an endorsement supporting the Pierce-King ticket.
Page 2 also has a patriotic letter from Pierce declining an invitation to the 4th of July celebration at Philadelphia due to a prior commitment, signed in type: Frank. Pierce. Also has a few other Pierce letters from 1842.
The back page has the lyrics of "A Campaign Song" supporting Pierce. Great to have in a paper from Pierce's native state.
Other news of the day with many ads. A few areas of foxing, otherwise in good condition. Four pages.
