This Genuine newspaper has a Wealth of Civil War reporting from during Abraham Lincoln's administration.
This issue has a supplement page at the back which has a nice full page map titled: "THE FIELD OF THE IMPENDING STRUGGLE".
Among the one column headlines on the front page are: "THE DECISIVE STRUGGLE", "On to Richmond and on to Rome!", "The Advancing Columns in the East and West", "The Position of the Contending Forces", "The Army of the Potomac Across the Rapidan and Through the Wilderness", "SKIRMISH AT THOROUGHFARE GAP", "Beauregard in Command at Petersburg" and more.
Complete in ten pages. This issue is not fragile as newsprint from this era was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle. Little spine wear, otherwise in good condition.
