DREWRY'S DERBY MERCURY, England, 1783 A quite uncommon title, in fact the very first we've come across in 29 years. A nice, full folio size newspaper of 4 pages with an engraving in the center of the masthead and great to have from the end of the Revolutionary War in the colonies. Various news of the day and a wealth of ads as well. The front page also has a partial red-inked tax stamp. A bit of foxing or dirtiness to the front page otherwise in quite nice condition. The photo below is generic but the issue you receive will be almost identical and will be from the year 1783.Category: Revolutionary War
