INDEPENDENT CHRONICLE, Boston, March 17, 1814 Front page contains two political Acts, each signed in type by Vice President: JAMES MADISON. A center column front page political ad supports the Dexter-Gray ticket for Governor & William Gray for Lieut. Gov. Just above the ad is a small woodcut of a ship that has a banner with: "Don't Give Up The Ship."
Eight pages, traces of foxing, close trimmed on top border of some inside pages with minor loss of text, otherwise nice.
