* Will Evolution be permitted to be taught in schools?

The front page has the full-banner dramatic headline: "COMPLETE EVOLUTION JURY," with the subheading: "PICK STANCH FOES OF DARWIN TO TRY SCOPES", which continues on page two. The article makes it clear the jury is comprised of those who are foes of Darwin. Another "Scopes" article is also found on page 2. The back page has the banner heading, which includes in part: "...Jury in Evolution Trial Completed on First Day", with 3 corresponding photos.

Complete in 24 pages, average condition for the era with edge chipping, flaking, and multiple archival tape mends. Even toning. See images for details.

Background Note (source: history.com) The Scopes Trial, also known as the Scopes Monkey Trial, was the 1925 prosecution of science teacher John Scopes for teaching evolution in a Tennessee public school, which a recent bill had made illegal.
