Page 48 has a nice advertisement for the opening of "Star Wars, The Empire Strikes" ( see images) And page 50 has a review for the film under: "What Empire?" with related photo.
Page 51 has a nice ad for the opening day for the movie "The Shining" (see images) Being a weekly publication, these ads are for the opening day. I suspect this to be an extremely rare item because their was really no reason to save it at the time.
It is worth noting that "The Village Voice" was an American news and culture paper, known for being the country's first alternative newsweekly. Founded in 1955, the Voice began as a platform for the creative community of New York City.
Complete in 100+ pages, tabloid-size, one crease across the center, two small lightly inked library stamps on the front page, very nice condition.
