A terrific issue on the premiere of "Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country", including a full-page advertisement accompanied by a review with accompanying image. Additionally, the premier of "At Play in the Fields of the Lord", including a full-page advertisement accompanied by a front-page review with a related photo.
Also featured are several full- or large-page ads for both new and upcoming releases. Some of these include: "December", "For The Boys", "My Girl", "The Addams Family", Walt Disney's
"Beauty and the Beast", "The Last BOYSCOUT", "The Prince of Tides", "Cape Fear", and "An American Tail - Fievel Goes West". This is an absolutely fantastic offering for film enthusiasts.
Perhaps no better issue could be found than this, the leading newspaper from the home of the entertainment industry - the Hollywood area's prime publication.
Note: Where else might one find authentic, poster-size ads for Opening Day showings, in the most desirable Hollywood-area newspaper - as we were lucky enough to obtain this (and others) indirectly from the Los Angeles Times' own collection? It simply doesn't get any better! In over 40 years of collecting, we have yet to see such unique & dramatic coverage with truly top-shelf, eye-catching displayability (see images).
