THE LONDON GAZETTE, England, May 28, 1666 A very early issue of this famous newspaper, the oldest continually published English language in the world. It began one year prior in 1665 and still exists today.
This issue not only has reports from London and the rest of England, but also from Paris, The Hague, and Danzick & elsewhere in Europe. This issue was published several months before the Great London Fire.
Complete as a single sheet newspaper, 7 by 11 1/4 inches, very nice condition.
