GAZETTE OF THE UNITED STATES, Philadelphia, March 30, 1791 The front page has continued discussion in Congress concerning: "The Bank Bill Under Consideration" carrying over to take most of page 2.
Page 3 has a notable report from Phila: "The House of Representatives of this state have appointed a committee to bring in a bill to appropriate a sum of money for the purpose of building a house for the President of the United States a Federal Hall for both Houses of Congress, & officers for the different departments..." with further detail.
Over a full column on the back page is an Act of Congress for: "...raising & adding another Regiment to the Military Establishment...& for making farther Provision for the Protection of the Frontiers." which is signed in type by the President: George Washington, and also by Thomas Jefferson and John Adams.
The Act is headed with a nice engraving of a heraldic eagle.
The back page also has an advertisement for: "Manuel Noah, Broker...", a noted Jewish financier of the 18th century.
Four pages, nice condition.
