A rather rare title and great that it includes the word “Southern”.
The front page has reports from the Confederate Congress, as well as a document from the "Subsistence Department" and an: "Exchange Notice" on the exchange of prisoners (see).
The back page has much reporting from the War including: a letter to the governor signed by: Braxton Bragg; "Christmas Dinner for the Soldiers" "From the Georgia Front" "War News" and more.
Complete as a single sheet issue with very wide, untrimmed margins. A very small library stamp above the masthead, in great condition.
