A very scarce title, in fact not only is the first we have located in our 48 years but it is not listed in Gregory. This is the volume 1, number 15 issue.
"A Religious and Family Newspaper" as noted at the top, with Rev. J. W. Douglas as the proprietor. But there are secular news items as well.
Four pages, one of the earliest of California newspapers, never bound nor trimmed, mild wear at the folds & margins, good condition.
