THE EDINBURGH ADVERTISER, Scotland, Aug. 15, 1769  The top of page 5 has reports headed: "America" with a Boston dateline. It notes in part: "Writs have been issued for calling a new assembly in consequence of the dissolution of the last...owing to ambition of making this administration as odious and distressing to the people as possible...that they conceive...for they conceive...absolute destruction of race and fleecing the merchants...even open boats with sand from Cape Anne Beech are put to the charge of making an entry at the Custom house."
Eight pages, 9 by 11 inches, wide, never-trimmed margins, small piece clipped from the bottom of the front leaf not close to any text, full red tax stamp on the back page.
