Fully half of page 2 is taken up with a very detailed accounting of the historic Battle of Buena Vista during the Mexican War, this one penned by the Mexican general as it is signed in type by him: Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna.
Although both sides claimed victory, the outcome was ambiguous, as Santa Anna's forces withdrew with war trophies of cannons & flags, leaving the field of battle.
There are several more Mexican War reports on page 3.
Four pages very nice condition.
