EDINBURGH EVENING COURANT, Scotland, Nov. 25, 1746 This was one of the more notable titles for the 18th century, and from the era of the Jacobite Rebellion with a few page 2 items relating to it. There is also a report from Glasgow concerning: "...the laws against cursing and swearing are put in strict execution and that place, severals of late have been fined and imprisoned...".
