A great, tipped-in (no binding holes), doublepage centerfold: "Scenes on a Cotton Plantation" includes twelve prints, most showing Blacks at various chores including picking, hoeing & with the cotton gin.
Other prints include: "The War In Crete" "Map of the Island" of Crete; "A Greek Priest" "View of Canea, the Principal Pot of Crete" "'Burning of the Hyatt House, Janesville, Wisconsin" "Fire in Albany" "The Great Snow Storm..." and more.
Complete in 16 pages, slightly irregular at the spine from disbinding, very nice condition.
