THE STARS AND STRIPES, London Edition, April 2, 1945 This famous 4 page military newspaper has various World War II reports with much on the closing days of the European War and the end of Nazi Germany.
However the key item in this issue is a one column heading on page 2 that reads: "'Sweating Out' Carrier Pilots Jars the Nerves" which is a correspondence by famous WWII American Journalist Ernie Pyle. Includes a small photo of Pyle as well.
Complete issue with 8 pages, light toning and some wear at the margins, generally god.
