The front page also has nice one column heads including: "The Battle of Antietam" "The Battle Field - The Retreat of the Rebel Army" "Our Troops on the Other Side of the River" "Sharp Skirmish on the Potomac, Opposite Sharpsburg" "Additional Particulars of the Battle of Antietam" and more.
The Battle of Antietam was the bloodiest of the Civil War, both sides loosing over 10,000 in killed & wounded.
There are additional war reports on the inside pages including a map on page 5 & another map on page 8.
Eight pages, very nice condition.
