November 25, 1963
THE DALLAS TIMES HERALD, Texas, November 25, 1963
* Best Lee Harvey Oswald assassination issue to be had
* JFK John F. Kennedy murder - Jack Ruby
Although we have had many of the Nov. 25 issue of the Morning News reporting the killing of Oswald, we rarely find the Times Herald newspaper and it offers the much more dramatic--and large--front page photo (now quite famous) showing the moment Oswald was shot (the Morning News photo is of a second before the shooting).
The photo is captioned: "The President's accused killer as executioner's bullet pierces body." Above the photo is: "Mourning Nation Bids Chief Farewell" "Tip to FBI Warn ed of Oswald Death".
Not surprisingly much of the content relates to the assassination & funeral of John F. Kennedy.
This is the complete first section (of 3) with pages 1-30, nice condition.
A fine & rather rare issue and a great companion to the Times Herald issue of November 22.
