The front page banner headline announces: "NAZIS REPORT HITLER KILLED" with subhead: "German Radio Makes 'Mournful' Newscast; Doenitz Takes Over".
The report states in part: "...our Fuehrer, Adolf Hitler, has fallen this afternoon in his command post at the Reich's chancellery, fighting up to his last breath against Bolshevism..." In reality he committed suicide.
A front page photo of Hitler has an article: "House Painter Who Ruled Reich, Dead". Also an article & photo of: "Admiral Doenitz Known As Sub Chief, 'Mild Nazi' ".
Complete in 14 pages, very nice condition.
