DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Dec. 6, 1843 Almost all of page 2 is taken up with: "The Message" being the annual state-of-the-union address of the President, signed in type: John Tyler. In his lengthy address Tyler discusses the accomplishments of the year, and the challenges for the future.
Page 2 has 1 1/2 columns taken up with a lengthy editorial on: "The President's Message".
Terrific to have this content in this famous newspaper from the nation's capital.
