The top of page 3 includes: "Capture of a Slaver by the U.S. Brig Dolphin" with details including in part: "The U.S. brig Dolphin...been on a cruise on the coast of Cuba...during the day fell in with & captured the brig Putnam with 348 negroes from the coast of Africa...The Putnam's crew are on board in confinement..." with more. Also a brief report on: "The Slaver Echo".
Page 3 also has a lengthy article: "The Fraser River Gold Mines" with much detail.
Four pages, great condition. The folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
